The Engineering & Design Academy empowers students to step into the role of an engineer, adopt a problem-solving mindset, and make the leap from dreamers to doers. The program’s courses engage students in compelling, real-world challenges that help them become better collaborators and thinkers. Students take from the courses in-demand knowledge and skills they will use in high school and for the rest of their lives, on any career path they take.

PLTW Engineering

  • Year 1: PLTW Introduction to Engineering
  • Year 2: PLTW Principles of Engineering
  • Year 3: PLTW Honors Civil Engineering & Architecture, Honors Digital Electronics, Honors Computer Integrated Manufacturing
  • Year 4: Honors Engineering Design & Development

Precision Machining

  • Year 1: Mechanical Blueprint Reading 1, Principles of Machining & Machine Tool 1
  • Year 2: Machine Tool 3-4
  • Year 3: CNC & Manufacturing 1-2

Robotics and Automation

  • Year 1: Introduction to Robotics 1-2
  • Year 2: Industrial Robotics 3-4
