Burke Air & Space students can choose from FOUR pathways:

  • Flight: Learn how to fly a plane or drone and even complete your Private Pilot's test or UAV certification
  • Aircraft Mechanics:  Learn to maintain and repair aircraft with industry tools
  • Aerospace Engineering: Learn the science of flight and spacecraft while designing and building
  • Airport Management: Learn how to use your interests and skills to support the world of aviation through management, logistics, and organization

Aerospace Engineering Pathway Courses:

  • 10th Grade: Aviation 1-2
  • 11th Grade: Fundamentals of Aerospace Technology
  • 12th Grade: Aerospace Engineering 1-2
     

Airport Management Pathway Courses:

  • 10th Grade: Aviation 1-2
  • 11th Grade: Introduction to Aeronautics and Space, History of Aviation, and Aviation Safety
  • 12th Grade: Airport Management 1-2

Aviation Mechanics Pathway Courses:

  • 10th Grade: Aircraft Mechanics 1-2
  • 11th Grade: Aircraft Mechanics 3-4
  • 12th Grade: Aircraft Mechanics 5-6

Flight Pathway Courses:

  • 10th Grade: Aviation 1-2
  • 11th Grade: Introduction to Aeronautics and Space, History of Aviation, and Aviation Safety
  • 12th Grade: Intro to Powered Flight
